CODING FOR KIDS
Ontario's Fastest Growing Kids Coding Program!
BRAMPTON, VAUGHAN, MARKHAM, NEWMARKET & MISSISSAUGA
Parents are rushing in record numbers to sign their kids up to learn coding and programming. This has quickly become a new skill that kids almost need to have... BUT WHY and HOW ELSE does learning this skill help young students!?
Thank you so much for this session at Techy kids. I want to let you know how innovative and fresh your concept is and Ninah leads with great teaching and connectivity to each student. Amazing experience. I will use Techykids throughout the year as the kids really enjoyed the experience. Francine (Parent)
I would like to inform you that we recently enrolled our daughter at techy kids. This is our first experience as far as any educational institution is concerned but this place turned out to be the one beyond my expectations. I would like to mention the potential Sabina has as a teacher and how passionately she involves with the kids to teach them, what an incredible person. My daughter is very happy and that’s what matters the most. Best wishes for the future. Harinder (Parent)
I like this class a lot and have learned a lot from it. My favorite topic has been functions because it makes things easier. I want to learn how to create animations and/or games. Qassim (Student)
Why Coding Matters
Improves Math & Writing Skills
Coding helps children to be able to visualize abstract concepts, lets them apply math to real-world situations, and makes math fun and creative resulting in higher math scores over time.
Develops Critical Thinking Skills
Children are working on solving a programming problem, trying to get the computer to do something. They are learning to look past the bigger picture and breakdown the problem into smaller and more manageable tasks.
Teaches the Power of Collaboration
Kids meet and learn how to collaborate with all kinds of peers, all joined by a common interest in technology. Classrooms and other in-person environments bring kids together for face-to-face collaboration.
Learning how to problem solve and look for solutions through research and collaboration builds this highly desirable skill.
If you possess a hot skill that many of your peers lack (Such as the ability to code), you instantly appear more desirable in the eyes of potential post secondary admissions officers and/or employers.
